Description |
Colorized photograph of a double-decker bridge over the Susquehanna River. Back text reads "This bridge was formerly used as the Pennsylvania Railroad Bridge over the Susquehanna River. In 1910 it was taken over by private interests and made into a highway bridge and toll was charged. In 1923 it was purchased by the State of Maryland and in 1927 was made a toll bridge." Card is postmarked "Havre de Grace, MD, Jan 9, 1939." |
